Management Commitment Statements

The Halal Commitment Statement:

We are committed to provide high quality product with respect to Halalan Toyyiban standards and the Islamic Syariah Law requirements through:

  • All our products are Halal certified by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) and other relevant authorised Islamic certification bodies in accordance with the Halalan Toyyiban standards and the Islamic Syariah Law requirements.
  • Our processing aids, equipment and utensils are clean and free of non-halal ingredients and any najs.
  • An internal halal committee is established and held responsible for all matters pertaining to Halal compliance in our supply chain, from materials selection, purchasing, raw materials receiving, manufacturing facilities and personnel directly involved in production processes, to the storage, warehousing, and transportation of our products.
  • Halal Assurance Management System (HAS) is implemented to maintain and ensure sustainability of Halal production processes according to JAKIM Halal requirements and MS 1500 standards.

The Food Safety Commitment Statement:

We are committed to continually enhancing the reputation of the brands we produce and distribute, through the development and implementation of quality and food safety system standard and practices as below:

  • Manufacture and deliver products conform to quality and food safety standards which suitable for their intended use and meeting customer’s requirements.
  • Meet all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements enforce in Malaysia.
  • Ensure food safety culture through implementation of food safety management system ISO 22000:2018 in all operations and where applicable.
  • Consistently improved food safety management system in accordance with latest ISO 22000: 2018 standards and requirements.
  • Communicate the relevant food safety requirements to employees, suppliers, contractors, customers, and other relevant interested parties both internally and externally.
  • Consistently develop necessary training and competencies for related employees to perform their jobs related to quality and food safety.
